Challenge

Nike's external brand reputation didn't match the internal culture perception. The hiring experience was uninviting — described as feeling "like a trip to the DMV." As a legacy company competing for top talent, they needed to transform their employer brand into an attractive beacon for global candidates.

Solution

We built a comprehensive digital ecosystem: a 10-part editorial content series showcasing compelling employee stories from around the world, and a custom career site built around "Find My Fit" — a gamified experience where candidates discover matching roles instead of traditional job hunting. The brand experience was replicated across Converse and Hurley subsidiaries.

Approach

Full digital strategy and audit first. We mapped the existing funnel, identified conversion blockers, and built the content framework before a single component was designed. Then UX, UI, and development in tight parallel loops — positioning Nike's company culture as the driver behind their boundary-pushing innovation.

Results

Apply clicks up 74%. Site traffic up 26%. Sessions up 33%. Bounce rate cut in half. Nike's careers site finally feels like a Nike site.
